Who is the CEO of the school?

On the unusually sunny morning of 23 May 2021, The Woluwe Diaries bumped into a rather curious tweet (English translation). As knowledgeable as these Diaries are about how the Woluwe EEB2 parents association (APEEE) tends to operate, I thought it would be helpful to put this tweet into some context. This should be a wake up call to the entire parents community.

Parents’ association or “business”?

My Experience with the APEEE’s Woluwe Board since its election in January 2020

I have been a Portuguese class representative since 2017 when my daughter joined the EEB2 School. I am a dynamic person and I took this responsibility with passion and selflessness – what I want is my daughter to go to a school where she feels happy, gets the best education possible and is safe. Those who still remember the long gone month of November 2020, may also recall the rather unfortunate events that went on at the EEB2 APEEE Extraordinary Board meeting that took place on the 4th of that month.

If you don’t remember… then, tough luck! I say “tough luck” because the minutes of that meeting have disappeared from the website of our association.
